Her practice originates from a deeply instinctive need for self-portraiture — a necessity that emerged before it could be rationally understood, and that still remains central to her work today. Through painting, self-representation becomes a way of transforming personal experience into an intimate and emotionally charged visual language. Her work explores themes of body dysmorphia, vulnerability, solitude, memory, and the obsessive desire for self-improvement. The body appears as both exposed and inaccessible: a fragile territory suspended between revelation and protection.

Painting is simultaneously an act of vulnerability and resistance. Through distorted figurative imagery and autobiographical references, she investigates the fracture between inner perception and reflected identity, confronting the tension between self-recognition and estrangement. The mirror becomes both companion and judge — a space of obsessive observation, conflict, and continuous confrontation. In the same way, painting itself reflects an endless attempt to approach an unattainable image, where dissatisfaction and imperfection become an essential part of the artistic process.
